Hola, Buddies!!!

I'm gonna go to Magelang, now!!! I mean, I'm not really going to go to Magelang, But I will give you information about something wonderful there. Don't be late, click this now!

When you think about Buddhist temple, which country you are thinking about? Cambodia? Thailand? or Vietnam? But, do you know that the biggest Buddhist temple isn't in those countries? The biggest Buddhist temple is in Indonesia, called Borobudur. Borobudur was built around 800 AD during the reign of Syailendra Dynasty. The construction is estimated was taking more than 75 - 100 years and  finished during the reign of King Samaratungga in 825 AD.

Borobudur has square shape with 125 x 125 m large. The height of the building from the ground is around 34 m, and there are stairs on every sides of the temple.

Borobudur divided into three tiers which consist of 9 parts. The lowest tier called Kamadhatu which has only 1 part. It consists of  160 reliefs that explain about human nature. The middle tier is Rupadhatu which has 5 parts. There are reliefs in the wall and 328 Buddha statues. And the top tier is Arupadhatu which has 3 parts. Arupadhatu symbolizes the ultimate goal of every people (nirvana). In these parts have stupas that form a circular shape. the stupa is a big inverted bell with a buddha statue inside. There are 72 stupas and the biggest stupa is in the middle of the other stupas. It has 7 m height with 9,9 m diameter.

So, what I like the most of this temple? Borobudur is the most magnificent temple I've ever seen. Every time I see this temple, I always amazed with how big and how great the temple is. Aside that, it has very beautiful view when dusk. But unfortunately this attraction is closed at 3 pm. But, it still very beautiful whenever you there.

The entrance ticket is quite cheap. Rp50.000 for adult and Rp25.000 for children. After that, you can enjoy this wonderful place.

Actually, this is the first place I want to visit after the pandemic end. I frequently say to my parents that I want to go to Borobudur. I've visited it a longgggg time ago when I was just a little kid. And now I want to enjoy the view and see this beautiful temple, directly.

I feel I should be better to write about this. Since, It is one of my favorite tourist attractions. I'm sorry if I'm not maximum to provide you about Borobudur information. But, thankyou for reading my writing and see you in the next post 😊
